Generalized Predictive Control Scheme for a Wind Turbine System

چکیده
In this paper, a generalized predictive control scheme for wind energy conversion systems that consists of turbine and doubly-fed induction generator is proposed. The design created by using the maximum power point tracking theory to maximize extracted power, even when uncertain or speed varies abruptly. suggested controller guarantees compliance with current constraints applying them in regulator’s conceptual process assure rotor windings are not damaged due over-current. This GPC solves optimization problem based on truncated Newton minimization method. Finally, simulation results, which obtained through Matlab/Simulink software, show effectiveness proposed regulator compared widely used Proportional-integral DFIG.
